Very thoughtful, and I agree with you in principle. The last thing I want to do is empower this hideous clown show known as transgenderism.

But, here are two problems with not pushing back against these perverts.

1) For close to 70 years we ignored these people as they made their long march through the institutions. Look where that has got us, a place where major institutions are backing a literal rejection of reality. A movement that has the backing of actual satanists.

2) It would be one thing if it were a few petite homosexuals defiling themselves while trying to pass as women. That has been around for years. But that is not the case here. These people are coming for your children. If we don't push back, with extreme prejudice, they will succeed in that goal.

We ignore these people at our peril and that of our descendants. They need to be confronted and sent straight to the abyss.

1) pushing back against this stuff in your workplace and at the polling station isn't the same thing as not responding to someone like Dylan Mulvaney, whose intent is to provoke a reaction from you so that you look like an anger management case.

"Why are you freaking out buddy? It's only beer"

Dylan Mulvaney should get a 2X4 upside the head. That is the stakes here because of my point (2).

My mum always said stop making idiots into heroes. Take no notice of them, don't give them air time or TV time. In her day there was no internet and so on. She was right. Making heroes out of foolish, ridiculous or, sadly, mentally ill people feeds them to society's downfall and eventual destruction.

I don't agree. We've ignored this crazy crap for years now and have only gotten more of it. Mulvaney may be clever or he may be deranged, but he is one of many men invading women's spaces and places. Matt Walsh drew attention to the mutilation of children that has been rebranded as "health care" and some hospitals have paused or shut down their programs. We cannot shine a light on the trans insanity without unintentionally drawing attention to some of their bigger freak show stars. I'm of the opinion that Mulvaney was packaged and served up to us from the dark forces on the left.

We took the "if we ignore them, they'll go away 'cause everyone knows they're crazy" approach. It didn't work. They didn't go away. And the people who think they're crazy are even more cowardly than they were before. Oh, and we got more trans insanity.

We haven't tried the ignore it and it will go away approach. I assume from the 75 in your username that you're a middle-aged person. Anything that you vocally oppose will be made cooler *by* your vocal opposition to it.

LOL. No, poodle, I'm not 75 years old. You assumed incorrectly.

Don't know where you live, but I live in the US. We've taken the "ignore it and it will go away " approach for about fifteen years now. The number of sudden onset "trans-identifying" adolescent girls has increased more than 4000%. There used to be one pediatric "gender clinic" in the US. There are now thousands. As Matt Walsh reported, there's good money to be made off the pain of these children and their terrified (or twisted) parents,

There is nothing about the so-called "trans" movement that is organic or real. It's a op. Now, we're labeled transphobic haters if we don't want men in our bathrooms or if we oppose grown men dressed as some parody of a woman gyrating in a sexual manner in front of children during story time at the local library. Woman is not a costume.

No amount of hormone suppressors, cross hormones, plastic surgery, makeup, hair, clothing, or wishing will turn a man into a woman (or a woman into a man). At best, they become good fakes (Mulvaney is not a good fake, btw) condemned to a life of dangerous drugs, plastic surgery, and pretending.

If adults want to mutilate themselves and pretend they are what they are not and can never be, then have at it. As long as they don't shoot little kids.

I draw the line at children. Stay the fuck away from the children.

I thought 75 referred to the year you were born, not your age.

Dylan Mulvaney is a narcissist. What he's doing here is what psychologists call crazy-making. By all means push back against trans nonsense, but be sure not to do it in a way that plays into his hands.

Nope. Not what 75 stands for.

I don't know what's going on with Mulvaney. He may be a narcissist. He may have gender dysphoria. I don't know him, so I'm not going to diagnose him. I also don't know what's really going on in society other than a great many people have lost their minds or their spines or, perhaps, both.

We've ignored them for a couple decades. It's only gotten worse. Why, exactly, corporations think it helps their brands to associate with Mulvaney is beyond my comprehension. He's actually a brand ambassador for sports bras and Tampax. Where do you supposed Mr. Mulvaney shoves his tampon? Never mind. Don't answer that. It was rhetorical, and I really don't want to speculate.

Like Trump Derangement Syndrome, the woke mind virus is incurable. We tried to be nice. We took the live and let live approach. It only brought more insanity.

IMO, the trans movement is just another manifestation of men trying to control women. Screw it. That's over.

Your response puzzles me. Why should it be that if a person is middle-aged (or above, presumably), their comments are somehow less credible (which is, I assume, the meaning of the strange term 'cooker')? Should all those over the age of forty be constrained in their speech by the proper authorities (ie Messrs Musk, Zuckerberg, Shou etc)?

Or something more drastic, perhaps? All those born before 1983, being self-evidently deranged, or at least a nuisance to the right-thinking yoof, should have all their civil rights revoked, devices confiscated and be confined to remote places for the balance of their natural lives.

Or, perhaps, and this is I confess a pretty wild thought, people's comments should be assessed on the basis of the merits or otherwise of said utterance, rather than due to some irrelevant characteristic of the one who writes?

The objective of merit of what he/she said is irrelevant. In the eyes of the teenagers and liberal parents who this marketing campaign is aimed at, it's akin to some Baptist minister shaking his fist at the big-haired lothario Elvis leading the kids to sin by gyrating his hips. If teenagers see this annoys older authority figures, many of them are only going to want to do it more. As I said, oppose this stuff, but be careful not to do it in a way that plays into Dylan Mulvaney's hands.

It is a necessary premiss of your claim that teenagers and liberal parents are devoid of agency. Having been both in my time, I am inclined to demur.

I think you're working from the assumption that if you just tell people an objective truth, most people will accept it as being an objective truth, regardless of who they hear it from or the way it is phrased.

You've completely missed the point again. Are you doing this deliberately? It doesn't matter if you're 100% right or not, getting an oldster like you to freak out and look like an anger management case is the whole point of Dylan Mulvaney.

Most people in white collar jobs don't care about BLM, trans, what-have-you and just mouth the politically correct platitudes. However, if you don't, all it takes is one true believing creep in your midst to dob you in to your manager or the HR department.

I am inclined to suspect that the invasion drills currently being carried out by the forces of the CCP, not to mention the doings of Vlad the Disastrous, represent a somewhat greater threat to Western Civilisation than anything churned out by the aficionados of Tik Tok and its ilk. Yet the legions of the right seem obsessed with such stuff.

One really ought to get one's priorities right, as it were.
