You and Ed West should compile a manifesto. You both always seem to make such sense...which inevitably means it's a pipe dream!

Or, perhaps, the engendering of a new movement that will appeal both to moderate Conservatives and eternally optimistic Anglo-liberals (Locke, Smith, Mill) such as myself.

Good speech but one a politician will never utter. The politician of the calibre of Churchill or Thatcher have ceased to exist and all are place holders and rent seekers. The same on the other side of the house also unfortunately.

Never going to happen.

Rishi has one task in 2023/24: hold on to power.

Sir Keir also has one task: gain power.

The P.S. section is probably not even within the power of elected government to fix.

Strikes me that Konstantin's manifesto is a pretty good way for the Tories to do just that.

PS: yes it is; they don't even need legislation to achieve it.
