Still listening to this discussion, but I thought it was important to say that I think you've hit on something when speaking about Tucker and the "barbarian" right because I will admit I fell into that mindset for a while. I got overly frustrated because it felt like there was no way to bring it back to founding principles. I was impatient because it felt like we weren't clawing our way out fast enough. I also felt utterly betrayed by my own country and I let myself get angry. Too angry. It is not the correct reaction. Thankfully, I have smart people around me to pull me back to earth. You've nailed the motivation. I'm glad you are speaking out.
Konstantin you have my up most respect! You are pointing out truths that no one else sees. I have been feeling so alone in seeing Woke as not just a left wing problem but is something the right can suffer from it too. Left are more susceptible to it maybe because of they have a more liberal imagination to stretch the truth and to believe it without question. I am glad that you see it too and you are speaking up about it. Woke is that quote you like to say from a former guest on Trigg,"They don't use words to communicate, they use words to manipulate." In my opinion (just a grain of salt) Tucker used the interview with Cooper not communicate truth, but to manipulate it.
However, my concern with you calling Tucker Woke right is I actually agree with Ben. The term Woke has become like the word racist; and now I am going to use Andrew Golds words, "A thought terminating cliché". It stops further engagement with that person because their opinion has became illegitimized. I can see why others who are right wing think you are engaging in cancel culture by using the term Woke. But I am fully aware that it is not cancel culture by along shot. The right see Woke as so absurdly evil that the Woke don't even have to shut down debate with who questions them anymore, because most of the people who question them voluntarily refuse to debate or listen to them. Both sides have made up their minds before the debate begins. One is racist and the other is Woke. But, you are 💯 right in saying Tucker is Woke. He is looking for an alternative system by destroying what is already there. If you are trying to destroy something then you are doing no good. Tucker has the alternative we don't want. We need to do exactly what you said in your Oxford speech, we need to create, build and grow. Democracy is not bad it is just failing in the modern times, because it just can't keep up with weight of how big the Government is getting. I call it Dino Democracy, old and tied. Woke is the asteroid mashing right into it. However, Democracy should be a foundation to build the alternative upon. The alternative that doesn't need to take the weight of big Government because the government has become so small it can fly with us in a murmuration of politics that gets things done flexibly, quickly and reliably. Reform has the right idea in reducing Government but it does not address the fact the people tear done any leader that comes along weak or strong. We do not trust or respect leaders. There is no chance to regain that trust back. Leaders have not destroyed Democracy, Democracy has destroyed leadership. It is not necessarily a bad thing that has happened.
I do not hate Woke I want to understand it and now how to overcome it, and not to destroy it.
Ben also mentioned that the US does not have a president at the moment but the country is still running. That is exactly my point, it takes so much more to run a country than a president, it is all the constituents. People have to work together to run a country. Does it take a leader to get people to work together? At the moment, no. The people are the president and country, Democracy in a nutshell. If people think it will take a strong leader to fight Woke, well, Woke doesn't have a leader to fight. There is no Woke Thanos, Woke Hitler, Woke Stralin, Woke Putin or Xi Jinping to defeat. There is no leader to make war with. No leader to make peace with.
Tucker is right to go Woke, however he is going the same destructive rout as the left Woke. When I talk about going Woke it is about going leaderless. We need to find a system that can get things done. Do you think a leader is what we looking or is it a system?
