Another point I would have liked to have seen made is that woke culture does not believe in tradeoffs. For example, you can have the benefits of paved roads, but it will cost you an oil refinery somewhere to make the tar, a big hole in the ground somewhere else to get the gravel, and a plant still somewhere else to mix the asphalt. The woke seem to want all the benefits of modern culture with none of the costs. Hence the mythical "clean energy." When you mentioned "clean energy", I assumed you meant energy that does not produce CO2. That exists already in the form of nuclear fission. But that's also not good enough for the woke because of the necessity of storing the waste. I'm not sure if they've considered the cost of mining and refining uranium and thorium, but I'm sure they would balk at that too. I'm sure that the woke also don't understand that neither solar nor wind electricity are truly "clean" in the sense that they use the term. But that is still another failure of woke culture. It is pure emotion, shorn of all reason.
Amen to that. People need to understand that when the world’s four billion poor people increase energy use to just one-third of Europe’s per capita level, global demand rises by an amount equal to twice America’s total consumption. Windmills? Don’t be daft.
I know the elites and green blob are trying everything to stop this, but they’ll fail. Mild benign climate change isn’t a problem - the data is clear on this - but every single penny, cent and euro blown on useless unreliable energy - that fills rentseeker pockets - should be spent on developing cheap, clean, reliable, abundant energy.
Poor people are bad for the environment. Make everyone better off if you want to save the planet.

I take solace in knowing that articulate and reasonable voices such as yours will be heard.

Spot on! Great speech.
Excellent speech Konstantin!
Loved it - really hope they were listening
Woke culture had gone too far the very moment it reared its ugly head.
Great speech and so many good points. Who was the bloke who kept trying to interject?
Thank you for saying the truth.
That was excellent, and I hope it gave perspective to the other side.
BRAVO!!
